Albright Art Museum, located in Delaware Park of Buffalo, New York, serves as a cultural hub of art for locals to experience and enjoy. Its Greek-revival style of architecture is portrayed through the intricate statues and fine-detailed columns surrounding the structure. Before it could proceed with construction renovations, ARC was asked to scan and provide an as-built model of the museum.
Shown are ARC’s Revit models of the structure. Attention to detail was important when creating these models from the bottom up, since the museum has an anomaly of lines and crevices. Replicating the exact detail helps those to better understand the structure’s history, as well as how it exists currently. Through the reality capture and modeling processes, ARC was able to discover the value of the Albright Art Museum and its cultural significance.
