Beverly Hills High School was built in the 1920s and was established in 1927. In 1933, the school's main building was affected by an earthquake and underwent renovations. In the 1940s, the school's "Swim Gym" was used as a film location for the feature film "It's a Wonderful Life."

Architectural Resource Consultants (ARC) was hired to provide High Definition Survey (HDS) 3D laser scanning (3DLS) services for the creation of the 2D existing conditions documents. These as-built documents were created for the design team to use as base files for the creation of construction documents for renovation purposes.
